This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the organization’s expert on category dynamics, shopper insights, channel transitions, and competitive landscapes.
• Manage consumption data analysis to monitor, assess, and enhance marketing and trade activities while identifying macro trends and converting them into actionable strategies.
• Design and sustain the comprehensive insights ecosystem, ensuring that tools, data sources, and analytical capabilities grow in alignment with business requirements.
• Identify retailer-specific growth opportunities through tactical proposals that promote Magic Spoon’s strategic priorities, with a significant emphasis on top customers.
• Assist the sales team by creating data-driven selling materials that enhance Magic Spoon’s positioning with key retail partners, driving distribution, shelf space, and merchandising successes.
• Establish and provide KPI frameworks and executive reporting tools to track category performance and guide strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and Leadership to guarantee each team has the insights, tools, and analytical support necessary to achieve their strategic goals.
• Foster strong relationships and act as the main liaison with external partners to ensure Magic Spoon fully utilizes the capabilities of each platform, while upholding the Magic Spoon mission, culture, and values.
• Over 8 years of experience in category management within the consumer goods/food industry in the retail sector.
• Exceptional ability to leverage Spins, Nielsen, IRI/Circana data for retail channel sales.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with the aptitude for making business decisions.
• Familiarity with the natural and grocery retail landscape, CPG selling process, and experience collaborating with sales teams and brokers.
• Capacity to collaborate and work cross-functionally with all key stakeholders, ranging from Sales/Retail Teams to C-Suite executives.
• Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Slides, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong written communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adopt AI tools/platforms.
