This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Conduct sales calls to promote and sell Medtronic CardioVascular Surgery Therapies to both current and potential customers according to a strategic plan.
• Develop, execute, and consistently monitor a quarterly strategic sales plan to meet sales objectives and targets.
• Create a comprehensive forecast with customer commitments to measure success.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new and existing customers in alignment with established sales plans and key accounts.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by focusing on specific customers to generate sales leads and foster business growth.
• Cultivate and sustain a high level of expertise in CardioVascular Surgery Therapies products.
• Provide insights and updates on competitive activities, market changes, distribution, and pricing strategies.
• Communicate suggestions for new products or modifications to existing ones to other departments (such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing) based on customer needs and requests.
• Coordinate customer engagement during all assigned meetings.
• Educate and train customers on the safe and effective use of Medtronic products.
• Accurately complete all administrative reports in a timely manner and in the required format (including expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, weekly activity reports, competitive updates, and inventory logs).
• Manage time, assets, and resources efficiently; oversee territory budget in accordance with the strategic territory plan and within the guidelines set by the Regional Manager.
• Maintain adequate inventory (trunk stock) and assist in product reallocation and delivery.
• Stay informed about current industry trends and all Medtronic products.
• Keep abreast of competitors’ products and strategies.
• Participate in sales training as needed.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND over 8 years of experience.
• OR Associate’s Degree AND more than 6 years of experience.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree AND at least 4 years of experience.
• Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in the fields of medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must have achieved Senior Representative level in another Medtronic Field Business.
• Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and those with Medtronic experience.
• Experience in selling to surgeons is required.
• Prior experience in the Cardiac operating room is essential.
• Proven success in a high-pressure sales environment.
• Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively forecast results.
• Capability to successfully plan and manage accounts.
