Senior Capital Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete execution of significant capital projects (generally ranging from USD $2–20M) from initial concept to commissioning and final handover.

• Create and manage project charters, business cases, scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans for risk mitigation.

• Collaborate with operations, R&D, supply chain, and finance teams to prioritize and strategize annual capital budgets.

• Guide and mentor direct reports, promoting skill enhancement and accountability within the team.

• Ensure that all capital projects adhere to regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, environmental, and local authorities).

• Conduct post-project assessments to document lessons learned and refine capital project methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).

• PMP certification or an equivalent professional project management credential is preferred.

• 10–15 years of progressively responsible experience in capital project management within a manufacturing context (preferably in consumer goods, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals).

• Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-million-dollar projects within GMP or regulated environments.

• Experience in leading small teams and overseeing contractors and vendors.

• Strong skills in project management, budgeting, and cost control.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Comprehensive understanding of engineering design, construction, commissioning, and validation processes.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Familiarity with project management software (such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
