Senior Capital Markets Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Take charge of monthly and quarterly reporting for Palmetto's capital markets funding structures, which include tax equity funds, ABS issuances, and warehouse facilities.

• Download, manage, and analyze extensive datasets to fulfill fund reporting and investor obligations.

• Create and sustain reporting templates for both new and existing funding structures, collaborating with technology teams to drive automation in the long term.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of Palmetto's operations, including the connections between solar loan origination, customer relationships, and financing products with capital markets activities.

• Assist FP&A, treasury, and cash forecasting efforts in relation to Palmetto Finance.

• Act as a liaison with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Asset Management, and Accounting to ensure clarity and alignment on all aspects of Palmetto Finance.

• Spot opportunities for enhancing reporting workflows, data processes, and cross-functional efficiency.

• Develop and maintain robust working relationships with internal teams such as Data Analytics, Operations, and Technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• 1–3+ years of experience in a finance, analytics, or business operations role; experience in residential solar, FP&A, treasury, investor relations, or utilities is highly preferred.

• Strong business insight; you comprehend how a business operates and can relate financial data to operational realities.

• Proficient analytical and Excel skills; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms is a significant advantage.

• Comfortable handling large datasets and producing structured, repeatable reporting outputs.

• Takes initiative in managing tasks, independently follows through, and coordinates across teams to achieve objectives.

• Highly driven and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where priorities can change rapidly.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across finance, technology, and operations teams.
