Senior C++ Engineer – Desktop Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain high-quality components for desktop applications utilizing modern C++.

• Execute scalable solutions for multithreading and concurrency.

• Assess, pinpoint, and address performance issues in intricate desktop systems.

• Engage in the modernization and refactoring of outdated codebases.

• Work collaboratively with architects, QA engineers, and product teams to provide stable and efficient solutions.

• Contribute to enhancements in software quality, debugging efforts, and initiatives aimed at system stability.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance development workflows and expedite implementation processes.

• Take part in technical discussions, code reviews, and initiatives promoting engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in C++ software development.

• Strong knowledge of modern C++ standards, including C++14/17/20.

• In-depth comprehension of multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance optimization techniques.

• Practical experience in developing desktop applications.

• Experience with the Qt framework.

• Familiarity with Make, Conan, and MSVC.

• Experience with CEF integration.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
