This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Contributes to SSM Health’s Mission by implementing transformational workforce initiatives that enhance operational excellence, improve margins, and ensure overall workforce value through collaboration, accountability, and transformation.
• Oversees the enterprise workforce management program, which includes position control, labor benchmarks and performance, and standards for operational excellence.
• Collaborates with executive leaders to coordinate workforce transformation initiatives.
• Directs operational excellence initiatives aimed at boosting organizational efficiency and enhancing operating margins.
• Enhances and maintains the current workforce management program, including the processes for position management and control.
• Establishes labor benchmark standards and assessments for both fixed and variable departments, identifies opportunities for workforce improvement, manages labor budget responsibilities, and collaborates with leaders on strategies to elevate operational excellence.
• Functions as an internal consultant to boost workforce value, operational excellence, and position control efforts.
• Employs critical thinking and a customer-focused approach to address inquiries while providing assistance and guidance to leaders.
• Leads the implementation of tools and resources to support leaders in achieving workforce-related goals.
• Acts as a consultant to leaders throughout the enterprise regarding the execution of workforce strategies such as staffing to demand, operating models, labor benchmarks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and voice of stakeholder (VoS) initiatives.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on resources and tools for productivity analysis and management across the system, fostering an environment of professional growth and development for operational leaders.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Nursing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a complex business setting.
