Senior Business Systems Analyst – Supply Chain Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Define, develop, and expand the technological framework that supports Samsara's comprehensive supply chain operations.

• Drive the long-term product vision, strategy, target-state architecture, roadmap, and investment priorities for Supply Chain technology capabilities.

• Lead the product strategy for a suite of enterprise supply chain systems.

• Identify systemic operational challenges and convert business issues into scalable product, platform, automation, and AI solutions.

• Establish success metrics, value realization frameworks, and measurable outcomes focusing on adoption, efficiency, cost savings, and operational performance.

• Manage a functional portfolio that encompasses planning, procurement, order management, fulfillment, and reverse logistics.

• Analyze existing processes, uncover root causes, and design future-state operating models and workflows.

• Propel modernization efforts from disparate tools and manual processes to cohesive, intelligent supply chain platforms.

• Define comprehensive application, integration, data, and platform architecture across ERP, planning, analytics, and AI ecosystems.

• Identify high-impact AI and automation opportunities within supply chain operations to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational agility.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and continuous enhancement.

• Foster alignment among senior leadership and cross-functional teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Supply Chain, Solutions Architecture, or Digital Transformation.

• In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes: Design-to-Release, Forecast-to-Plan/Build, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Returns/Reverse Logistics.

• Practical experience in delivering enterprise systems, integrations, and process automation, including AI/ML or advanced analytics in operational settings.

• Capacity to translate complex business challenges into clear technical requirements and target-state architecture.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior, cross-functional stakeholders within a matrixed environment without direct authority.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across both technical and non-technical global teams.

• Strong documentation practices and meticulous attention to detail.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
