Senior Business Systems Analyst – Quote to Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a highly proficient Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with extensive experience in Zuora CPQ, RevPro, and Zuora Billing to become a member of our team.

• In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements, outline solutions, and assist in the implementation of Zuora’s Billing and Revenue Recognition systems.

• Your responsibilities will include analyzing intricate financial data, collecting requirements, and facilitating the enhancement of billing and revenue processes to guarantee compliance and efficiency.

• Partner with key stakeholders to collect and document business requirements for the implementation of Zuora CPQ, RevPro, and Billing.

• Examine existing billing and revenue recognition processes to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for improvement.

• Convert business needs into functional specifications, which include process flows, user stories, and data mappings.

• Direct the configuration of Zuora CPQ, Billing, and RevPro to satisfy business needs.

• Offer comprehensive functional knowledge of Zuora Billing (subscription management, invoicing, payments) and RevPro (revenue recognition, compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15).

• Create integrations and automations using systems like Workato.

• Utilize your understanding of OTC system best practices and financial processes to recommend solutions and specific requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Years of Experience: 10+ years.

• At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Techno Functional Consultant in billing and revenue recognition systems.

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Zuora CPQ, Billing, and Zuora RevPro.

• A solid background in subscription billing, revenue recognition, and financial systems, including compliance requirements.

• Strong knowledge of Zuora CPQ, Zuora 360, and integration with Salesforce and the Zuora billing system.

• Comprehensive understanding of Zuora Billing, encompassing subscription management, invoicing, collections, and payment processing.

• Profound knowledge of Zuora RevPro with practical experience in revenue recognition and compliance standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).

• Familiarity with integrating Zuora with other external systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, NetSuite ERP, and financial reporting systems).

• Expertise in business process modeling and tools such as Lucid Chart, JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms for project tracking and management.

• Experience with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite GL is an advantage.

• Understanding of data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to convert complex business processes into technical requirements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to work efficiently with finance and technical teams.
