
Senior Business Systems Analyst – HRIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as the primary functional leader for the Workday Learning, Recruiting, Talent, and Advanced Compensation modules.
• Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday business processes, frameworks, eligibility criteria, and security settings.
• Ensure that system configurations are in sync with changing business requirements, compliance obligations, and enterprise standards.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and enhance end-to-end workflows in recruiting, talent, and compensation.
• Collaborate with People Tech engineers to design and implement Workday automation, including Extend applications, RaaS-based solutions, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Minimize operational hurdles by removing redundant approvals, enhancing self-service options, and improving system usability.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance recruiting workflows, talent insights, and compensation analysis.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to assess, pilot, and implement AI-driven solutions that improve People Team effectiveness.
• Convert business requirements into scalable AI-enabled system solutions.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Finance, and HR leadership.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and convert business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Promote adoption through effective change management, documentation, and training.
• Collaborate with People Analytics to ensure reliable, actionable data across recruiting, talent, and compensation.
• Design and support dashboards, reports, and audit frameworks that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and readiness for audit and compliance requirements.
• Confirm that all system modifications adhere to established change management and compliance standards (SOX, ITGC, audit requirements).
• Assist with quarterly and annual audits by maintaining documentation, testing evidence, and approval workflows.
• Engage in Workday release planning, testing, and deployment activities.
• Over 7 years of experience in Workday functional configuration, with extensive expertise in Recruiting, Talent, and/or Advanced Compensation.
• Significant experience in designing and optimizing complex Workday business processes.
• Experience in supporting advanced compensation programs, annual compensation reviews, or performance cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Preferred: Experience with Workday Extend, RaaS, integrations, or automation frameworks.
• Preferred: Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI-enabled HR solutions.
• Preferred: Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, ITGC).
