This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide support, enhancement, and implementation of software applications utilized within the organization.
• Manage and oversee intermediate-scale projects or segments of larger projects.
• Create project plans, establish timelines, and coordinate project resources.
• Act as the main point of contact between business units, IT departments, and external partners concerning Enrollment and Eligibility processes, with a focus on EDI 834 file exchanges.
• Gather, analyze, map, and document stakeholder requirements, data flows, business processes, and system interfaces.
• Review and verify inbound and outbound EDI 834 files for data integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Utilize Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies to manage and support projects.
• Create and execute SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
• Lead testing, troubleshooting, and enhancement initiatives for enrollment systems and EDI integrations.
• Identify and address operational and technological risks.
• Cultivate relationships with internal teams and external partners, including plan sponsors and TPAs.
• Promote process enhancements, customer satisfaction, data accuracy, and workflow optimization.
• Assess project team performance to ensure objectives, targets, and timelines are achieved.
• Supervise the design and implementation of enrollment-related solutions while evaluating operational impacts.
• Generate and distribute monthly performance and operational analysis reports using Tableau, Excel, and other analytical tools.
• Keep track of regulatory changes and industry trends related to EDI 834, HIPAA, and member enrollment.
• Mentor and instruct junior analysts and business units on EDI 834 standards and enrollment practices.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, Technical Education, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or Information Technology (Required).
• Candidates lacking a bachelor's degree may still be considered with 6 or more years of pertinent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (Required).
• Proven experience working with SQL.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, and CSS (Preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce, QNXT, or Edifecs (Nice to have).
• Familiarity with EDI 834, enrollment and eligibility processes, HIPAA, and member enrollment.
• Experience utilizing Tableau, Excel, and other analytic/reporting tools.
• Competence in working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of data mapping, system interfaces, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to provide training and support on EDI 834 standards and enrollment practices.
