Senior Business Analyst – Air Force Integrated Maintenance Data System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Assess, evaluate, and analyze business systems along with user requirements.

• Develop systems that align with overall business strategies.

• Create comprehensive descriptions of user requirements, program functionalities, and the necessary steps to develop or adjust computer programs.

• Offer consultation for intricate projects.

• Act as the primary contributor/specialist for the Air Force Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).

• Define and outline the scope and objectives of systems based on user requirements, relevant business systems, and industry standards.

• Create or adapt procedures to address complex issues while taking into account computer equipment capacities, limitations, and operational timeframes.

• Examine business and user requirements.

• Document requirements and specifications for system requirements.

• Mentor and guide less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

• Conduct systems analysis at the highest technical level, considering the business implications of technology in both current and future contexts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with the IMDS OS Family of Systems.

• Experience and training in Agile Software Development.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Familiarity or experience with Remedy.

• Familiarity or experience with the Atlassian toolset: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management.

• Familiarity or experience with PL SQL Developer.

• Familiarity or experience with CSCS.

• Familiarity or experience with Dev/Ops.

• Familiarity or experience with the Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E).

• Familiarity or experience with HP ALM.

• Familiarity or experience with Visual Studio.

• Familiarity or experience with Git.

• Familiarity or experience with the MS Office suite of software.

• Familiarity with Cloud One, AWS, Azure, and DISA.

• Security Plus certification is required.
