Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze business, process, and user requirements.

• Record and document requirements.

• Perform cost/benefit analyses.

• Convert needs into system requirement specifications.

• Act as the primary process owner and coordination point for letter configuration tasks within the MHK system.

• Oversee letter requests from intake through to readiness, including offshore configuration, quality review, testing coordination, and release preparedness.

• Manage processes and engage with stakeholders effectively.

• Guarantee thorough handoff documentation.

• Collaborate with offshore configuration teams.

• Track backlog aging and throughput metrics.

• Identify and escalate risks or blockers as necessary.

• Generate operational reports.

• Travel to Humana offices for training or meetings on occasion.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience within a resolution team or in software configuration.

• Proficient in problem analysis and process evaluation.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for self-managed internet service.

• Suggested connection types include wireless, wired cable, or DSL.

• Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections are only permitted with leadership approval.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Preferred: Experience in managing configuration efforts within MHK.

• Preferred: Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred: Experience in coordinating tasks for offshore contractors.

• Ability to work occasional night shifts once a month for specific releases, between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.
