Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to outline user journeys and business goals.

• Gather, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Create clear user stories with acceptance criteria, utilizing BDD/Gherkin when applicable.

• Assist in the prioritization and refinement of the backlog.

• Ensure the development team comprehends the purpose and business implications of each delivery.

• Identify inefficiencies in client processes and recommend continuous improvements based on data and best practices in service design.

• Connect clients’ business needs with the technical solutions provided by engineering teams.

• Employ an agile mindset and Lean principles to transform complex issues into clear user stories, ensuring ongoing value delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in IT.

• Strong capability to elicit, analyze, and convert business needs into clear, actionable requirements and process enhancements.

• Proficiency in writing clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Support for the prioritization and refinement of the backlog.

• Solid understanding of product value and delivery sequencing.

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Familiarity with Jira or similar backlog and project management tools.

• Exceptional skills in prioritization, task management, risk identification, and progress tracking.

• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Ability to engage stakeholders independently, both onsite and offshore.
