Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee project management and provide project oversight.

• Create Software Requirement Specification (SRS) documents for functional requirements related to Mail.dat and Mail.XML technical file specifications.

• Manage, update, and maintain the relevant technical specifications and guides.

• Generate new specifications and guides for newly developed or revised system functionalities.

• Assist with Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) by reviewing Technical Requirement Documents, developing and updating test scripts, and conducting acceptance testing.

• Validate production through smoke testing and functional testing procedures.

• Document test results, provide artifacts, TLSC documentation, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).

• Engage in mail industry meetings, forums, and workgroups, task groups, and user groups related to the Mailer Technical Advisory Committee.

• Create performance metrics to monitor and report on the status of Customer Acceptance Testing.

• Develop automated test scripts.

• Create training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guides for affected applications.

• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• An active Public Trust level clearance is essential.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related scientific field is required.

• A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in technology or software development is preferred.

• Experience as a business analyst; CBAP certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as ALM, VersionOne, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Proficiency in software testing tools like UFT and Selenium.

• Experience with database tools and analytics solutions, including MicroStrategy, Oracle SQL, and Teradata.

• Proficient in using the O365 suite, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio, Teams, Workflow, and Power BI.

• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.

• Experience in managing or leading IT projects utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

• Project Management Professional or Scrum Master Certification is required.

• Experience with Mail.DAT and Mail.XML specifications is highly desirable but not mandatory.

• Proven experience with an automation testing tool that employs AI or similar technologies.
