Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take a lead role in collaborating with cross-functional teams within an Agile framework to gather and document business requirements for software development initiatives.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level analysts while offering technical guidance.

• Analyze and convert business needs into clear and concise user stories, ensuring they align with project objectives.

• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a mutual understanding of project requirements.

• Conduct an analysis of existing systems and processes to uncover opportunities for improvement and efficiency enhancements.

• Work together with cross-functional teams to review story requirements and validate system functionality.

• Participate in implementations, troubleshoot issues, conduct impact analysis, and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Review system enhancements with project stakeholders.

• Create flow diagrams and document technical solutions.

• Continuously learn and adapt to contemporary technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends in business analysis and Agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent background in the technology sector.

• Skilled in identifying and resolving business problems through innovative and practical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information across all levels.

• Experienced in collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders.

• Possess a deep understanding of highly complex multi-platform applications and systems.

• Adept at managing tasks, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ability to remain flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, requirements, or technological advancements.

• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.

• Prior experience in production support and troubleshooting is preferred.

• Background as a QA or Developer is preferred.

• Expertise in other roles within an Agile Development Team, such as Quality Engineer, Software Engineer, Product Owner, or Scrum Master, is preferred.
