Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and manage essential enterprise applications, primarily focusing on NetSuite ERP, along with operational oversight of the ServiceNow platform, which includes governance, demand management, reporting, and ongoing management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to comprehend business requirements and translate them into system configurations, enhancements, and scalable solutions.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance processes and system capabilities, and implement or advocate for improvements.

• Maintain responsibility for system performance, data integrity, and user experience, ensuring that applications are dependable and well-governed.

• Identify, evaluate, and communicate risks associated with system changes, implementations, and upgrades, and proactively drive strategies for mitigation.

• Lead and carry out solution testing, validation, and release readiness for system changes and enhancements, ensuring compliance with established change management practices.

• Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.

• Develop and present user training and enablement resources to facilitate adoption and effective usage of the system.

• Assist with audit and compliance efforts, including data collection, documentation, and validation of controls.

• Oversee vendor relationships to support issue resolution, platform enhancements, and ongoing improvements to the system.

• Promote continuous improvement, governance, and best practices across the application portfolio utilizing established methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc.).

• Organize and prioritize tasks across multiple systems and concurrent projects, balancing operational support with project execution.

• Implement and configure new enterprise applications and system functionalities.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years in progressive Business Systems Analysis, Enterprise Information Systems Management, or a related field.

• Significant experience administering Oracle NetSuite ERP, covering financial modules, reporting, workflows, bundles/customizations, and role-based access controls.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow platform capabilities and ITSM processes, including Incident, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Change, and Asset Management.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple systems, projects, and competing demands in a high-paced environment.

• Demonstrated skills in business process analysis and modeling, with the ability to convert process requirements into system configurations and scalable solutions.

• Practical knowledge of project delivery and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc.) and their application.

• Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise SaaS applications, including configuration, enhancement, and ongoing lifecycle management.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and take ownership with minimal guidance.

• Experience in administering or supporting enterprise applications such as Concur, Equity Edge, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

• Experience working within integrated SaaS ecosystems, particularly in financial, expense, equity, and work management platforms.

• Solid understanding of general IT infrastructure platforms and technologies, including the Microsoft business technology stack.

• Preferred experience in the Biotech, Life Sciences, or medical industries.
