This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and advance critical enterprise processes within the title insurance lifecycle, utilizing a first-principles approach to challenge outdated workflows and pursue simpler, more scalable, and results-oriented solutions.
• Collaborate with functional area teams and cross-functional stakeholders to rethink and enhance workflows throughout the entire transactional lifecycle.
• Convert operational requirements into scalable, digital-first solutions by working closely with technology and product teams to establish automation, system improvements, and integrations that enhance human performance.
• Utilize production data and root cause analysis to identify issues, assess performance, and continually improve processes—embracing flexibility and iteration as essential to achieving lasting impact.
• Create, maintain, and manage standardized process documentation (e.g., SOPs, swim lanes, process narratives) to guarantee consistency, scalability, compliance, and ongoing adoption across the organization.
• Integrate compliance and regulatory standards into all process designs, balancing automation, human enhancement, and governance to ensure that solutions are both innovative and sustainable.
• Serve as the final decision-maker for process design standards within designated domains, ensuring alignment across business units and systems.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment among operations, product, technology, and compliance teams to promote the adoption of standardized, enterprise-wide workflows.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in the functional area with proven ownership of large-scale process transformation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of functional area operations and processes.
• Proven experience in process analysis, workflow design, and leading process improvement projects.
• Familiarity with title production systems (e.g., Ignite, FAST, SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, Qualia, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical, communication, and process documentation skills, with the capability to convert complex workflows into clear, actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in process mapping and data tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart, Excel, and data visualization platforms).
• Demonstrated digital mindset with a strong degree of adaptability—comfortable challenging outdated processes, embracing change, and leveraging technology to reimagine work processes.
• Experience in the title insurance and escrow industries, with direct exposure to the entire transaction lifecycle is preferred.
• Proven experience in driving process automation and workflow optimization within title and escrow settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (certification is preferred).
• Experience in the design, configuration, or enhancement of title production systems (e.g., ResWare, SoftPro, or similar platforms) is preferred.
