This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in the redesign, operations, policy alignment, and implementation planning of HR.1 eligibility and enrollment processes.
β’ Assist in executing necessary changes to comply with state and federal regulations regarding Medicaid eligibility and enrollment operations.
β’ Establish and nurture robust relationships with operational stakeholders, BerryDunn team members, workstream leaders, vendor partners, and other collaborators.
β’ Oversee and contribute to current-state analysis, future-state design, process enhancement, and implementation initiatives for eligibility and enrollment workflows using the DMAIC framework.
β’ Convert business requirements, policy mandates, regulatory updates, and stakeholder insights into precise requirements, process maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), implementation documents, and recommendations.
β’ Organize and lead meetings, interviews, workgroups, planning sessions, and process improvement events involving eligibility and enrollment stakeholders, operations teams, vendor partners, and relevant external partners.
β’ Facilitate improvements concerning task assignments, workload management, leadership development, call center processes, staff workflows, and member-facing service delivery.
β’ Investigate state and federal policies and evaluate their implications on business processes, system workflows, documentation, training requirements, and member interactions.
β’ Coordinate across different workstreams and partner teams, alongside external communications or marketing partners, to synchronize priorities, decisions, risks, dependencies, follow-up actions, and implementation requirements.
β’ Utilize Jira and SharePoint for tracking work, documenting decisions, maintaining project materials, and supporting reporting and review processes.
β’ Assist in readiness, communication, training, and adoption initiatives for eligibility and enrollment processes, policies, systems, and operational modifications.
β’ Extensive knowledge of process redesign within state Medicaid eligibility and enrollment programs.
β’ At least three years of experience working for or in collaboration with a state Medicaid agency.
β’ Proven experience in supporting Medicaid eligibility and enrollment operations, regulatory changes, task assignments, workload management, call center operations, or related business processes.
β’ Capability to lead within a team environment and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, vendors, and internal project teams.
β’ Strong time management abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
β’ Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control practices, including deliverable reviews and proactive issue management.
β’ Outstanding communication, facilitation, writing, editing, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Jira, Webex, and Zoom or similar tools.
