Senior Business Intelligence Analyst/Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain analytical models and dashboards utilizing Power BI and Tableau, providing clear and actionable insights on operational performance and business KPIs.

• Examine data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, converting discoveries into specific recommendations that facilitate strategic and operational decision-making.

• Create intricate SQL queries, including advanced regex applications, and utilize Python for scripting, automation, and data processing workflows that underpin analytical models.

• Embrace and advocate for best practices in data engineering, data modeling, and data integration, ensuring the dependability, scalability, and efficiency of analytical solutions throughout the entire process.

• Advise application and business teams on data interpretation and utilization, serving as a reliable analytical resource and actively fostering a data-driven decision-making culture within the team.

• Proactively collaborate with business and technology teams to collect, clarify, and validate analytical requirements, ensuring that solutions are tailored to address genuine business needs.

• Oversee tasks from start to finish within Agile/Scrum frameworks using tools like Jira, efficiently prioritizing deliverables and resolving issues among distributed onsite and offshore teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced English (C1 or higher) for reading, writing, and verbal communication with both onsite and offshore stakeholders independently.

• IT background with experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining analytical models and dashboards in Power BI and Tableau.

• High-level proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and regex implementation.

• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data process automation.

• Robust analytical abilities to comprehend data, interpret business requirements, and convert them into actionable analytical solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira.

• Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and comprehensive task management skills in fast-paced, distributed team settings.

• Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Azure platform, specifically Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake.

• General awareness of Azure cloud services and cloud-based data architecture patterns.

• Experience in the Logistics or Supply Chain field.

• Exposure to data governance and data quality practices in analytical settings.
