Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with and provide support to central operational teams (including Finance, Risk Adjustment, Quality, and Care Management) as well as market analytics and leadership teams to convert complex healthcare data into actionable tools and insights.

• Conduct thorough and ad-hoc analyses that promote operational efficiencies and inform strategic decision-making.

• Work in partnership across essential business teams such as Finance, IT, and Clinical Operations.

• Create presentations for partners, utilizing analytics tools and market-specific expertise to interpret data into actionable insights.

• Narrate with data: elucidating cost of care drivers, identifying root causes, and recommending action items for improved health outcomes at reduced costs.

• Act as a resource for colleagues and organizational leaders.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of Honest Health’s data assets and analytics product offerings.

• Function as the primary analytics partner for Medical Expense Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, or a related field is mandatory;

• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics is essential, including proficiency with large, complex data sets;

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Tableau, including end-to-end dashboard development, is required;

• At least 1 year of healthcare analytics experience with a robust understanding of healthcare data and operational workflows is necessary;

• Experience with value-based care models is essential;

• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

• Strong SQL skills are required, preferably within a Snowflake or similar cloud computing environment;

• Knowledge of programming languages (such as R, Python, SAS) is desirable;

• Familiarity with the application of AI, Machine Learning, and/or NLP in a healthcare environment;

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels;

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for exploring processes to enhance understanding and communicate the broader picture;

• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed environment;

• Strong strategic, analytical, and creative abilities with a history of addressing and resolving complex challenges;

• Ability to navigate uncertainty and turn complexity into clarity and actionable structure;

• Capable of working independently while also collaborating efficiently within a team setting.
