Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop dashboards, reports, and analyses tailored to business requirements, utilizing effective Data Storytelling techniques and best practices in data visualization;

• Partner with internal teams to execute Business Intelligence solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making;

• Optimize complex SQL queries to ensure optimal performance of reports, incorporating AI in the validation process;

• Oversee the transition and decommissioning of outdated data visualization tools, centralizing and migrating visualizations to our primary platform (Databricks);

• Create, implement, and share standards, governance processes, as well as audit and certification protocols for the company’s official reports, ensuring a monitored and trustworthy environment;

• Collaborate closely with the embedded reporting ecosystem to ensure that data views integrated into the company portal deliver outstanding performance for our clients;

• Conduct cross-data analyses to derive insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement utilizing analytical and automation tools;

• Work with Data teams (Engineering and Architecture) to enhance the architecture, modeling, and governance of the data that supports the BI;

• Facilitate discovery sessions with business units to identify needs, translate requirements, and meticulously document business rules;

• Maintain ongoing relationships with teams across Caju to keep all stakeholders updated, demonstrating strong technical leadership and self-management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive and proven experience in data analysis and Business Intelligence (Senior-level);

• Advanced expertise in SQL (hands-on experience with tuning, query optimization, and managing/transformation of large data volumes);

• Familiarity with analytical and data visualization tools (Power BI, Explo, Omni, Metabase, and Databricks);

• Practical knowledge of Embedded Analytics architecture (reports integrated into portals/products);

• Experience with the Databricks platform (essential for the current context);

• Strong skills in Data Storytelling, dashboard design, and converting complex data into user-friendly visuals;

• Highly organized, self-managed individual with a commitment to technical and functional documentation for processes and reports;

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, proactive in navigating between technical and business teams with a keen analytical curiosity;

• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and loading / ETL processes (a plus);

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
