This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +4 more states.
• Provide technical leadership in business across information management functions to support data and analytics.
• Oversee the analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions throughout various projects.
• Analyze, design, and develop data repositories, warehouses, marts, data movement, data wrangling, data mapping, and ETL processes.
• Support data solutions, applications, platforms, and tools utilized by Data Scientists and the Business Insights & Analytics teams.
• Create data preparation frameworks and architecture tailored for Data Scientist usage.
• Enhance data modeling capabilities to structure business data effectively.
• Assist business teams in utilizing and comprehending data and reporting solutions.
• Formulate data roadmaps, information management strategies, and technical solutions for data integration, transformation, and management.
• Lead the development of complex data-centric solutions and promote the adoption of the Enterprise Data model.
• Collect and analyze data requirements to facilitate information management solutions.
• Establish, maintain, and improve data management practices within Credit Risk programs.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, technology teams, and business stakeholders to enhance data quality and address data issues.
• Document data requirements, support regulatory compliance, and promote trusted data for informed decision-making.
• Develop business requirements, data models, business rules, data lifecycle management, governance, lineage, metadata, and reporting elements.
• Leverage automation and innovation in data platforms and development projects.
• Design and implement sophisticated business data information management frameworks.
• Work with technology and business partners to resolve issues and fulfill SLAs.
• Provide expert guidance, conduct data impact assessments, and implement data risk mitigation strategies.
• Enforce data information management standards and data quality processes.
• Maintain awareness of upstream data sources and data across various platforms.
• Identify critical data and key data elements essential for governance and data management initiatives.
• Execute data profiling using TD tooling and ad hoc query languages.
• Assist users throughout the data lifecycle and lead investigations into the root causes of data issues.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and data expertise activities.
• Evaluate the impacts of emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives.
• Mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to team development.
• Keep stakeholders updated on project progress and daily activities.
• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Certificate.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in business administration, statistics, mathematics, science, or finance.
• Expert knowledge in business information management and associated fields.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in one or two programming languages.
• Extensive experience with very large datasets.
• Familiarity with big data technologies.
• Experience with visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data sources, tools, and technologies for preparing summaries and reports.
• Understanding of data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
• Proficiency in analytical software tools.
• Skills in mentoring and coaching others.
• Proficient in using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Capability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize tasks effectively while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Preferred: background in reporting.
• Preferred: experience in coding.
• Preferred: experience with SQL.
• Base salary ranging from $72,280 to $117,520 USD.
