This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +4 more states.
• Spearhead market, customer, and policy analysis, engagement, and strategy to foster growth for Baker Hughes products, services, and business ventures.
• Formulate strategies for the current product and service portfolio, innovative business models, untapped markets, new technologies, and emerging sectors.
• Collaborate across various functions, teams, and businesses to facilitate new business incubation.
• Provide counsel to management within the function and/or business.
• Assist in decision-making on critical topics.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and business leaders regarding policy modifications and their implementation.
• Frequently assume the role of project leader for long-term initiatives involving the business and other functions.
• Identify and cultivate strategic growth opportunities within European naval and military marine programs.
• Establish and sustain relationships with naval shipyards, shipbuilders, propulsion OEMs, engine manufacturers, system integrators, defense contractors, and maritime stakeholders.
• Deliver market intelligence on industry trends, competitor actions, procurement cycles, and emerging naval technologies.
• Shape commercial strategies and position Baker Hughes as a reliable partner for marine gear and gearbox solutions.
• Propel sustainable long-term growth for Baker Hughes' marine gear and gearbox portfolio throughout Europe.
• Extensive experience in the naval, military marine, marine propulsion, or defense maritime sectors.
• Strong understanding of naval shipyards, shipbuilders, propulsion systems, and engine manufacturers.
• Proven experience in strategy and growth initiatives.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
• Proficiency in leading programs and projects.
• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Established project management expertise.
• Established connections across naval shipyards, shipbuilders, propulsion OEMs, engine manufacturers, defense contractors, and essential maritime stakeholders.
• Proven understanding of marine propulsion systems, gearbox technology, mechanical power transmission systems, marine gears, or related naval vessel equipment.
• Experience in naval or military marine markets is highly preferred.
• Degree from an accredited university or college.
