
Senior Business Development Manager – Full Cycle Healthcare SaaS Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve revenue objectives through proactive sales leadership across assigned territories, channel partners, and/or strategic accounts.
• Oversee and execute all sales initiatives for the designated product suite and applications within the specified territory.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to formulate and implement territory plans that align with sales objectives.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the assigned products, applications, and processes.
• Recognize high-value opportunities and steer revenue-oriented decision-making.
• Design and present customer solutions that yield profitable results.
• Progress and finalize sales opportunities through conversion and deal closure.
• Utilize knowledge of quality-of-care reporting, benchmarking, data analytics, and business intelligence to enhance care outcomes.
• Mentor team members on prospecting and sales techniques.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to report on pipeline, activity, sales cycle, market share, penetration, wins, and losses metrics.
• Observe and provide insights on market conditions, regulatory trends, competitive activities, and initiatives from target accounts or channel partners.
• Identify regional influencers via tradeshows, association memberships, training, and speaking engagements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
• More than 5 years of proven sales experience in selling healthcare technology products or services.
• Expertise in shaping complex, multi-stakeholder deals, including financial-model assessment, solution design, and delivering long-term customer value.
• Capability to comprehend and articulate customer business drivers and link solutions to operational, clinical, and financial outcomes.
• Proficient in navigating matrixed organizations and influencing internal stakeholders regarding deal strategy, resources, and customer engagement.
• Skill in identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within Inovalon’s portfolio.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as SalesLoft or Salesforce.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills; capable of managing multiple tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing annual revenue goals.
• Experience in conducting strategic, value-based discussions with C-suite executives.
• Competency in sales force automation and contact management systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, while meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred experience in selling, implementing, or integrating with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Preferred experience in SaaS or subscription-based software sales.
• Preferred leadership or supervisory experience.
• Preferred clinical degree (RN, BSN, etc.) and/or relevant experience.
• Capability to perform sedentary work and occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force.
• Ability to frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull, move objects, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in indoor environmental conditions.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position does not qualify for immigration sponsorship.
