This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +4 more states.
• Drive sales growth by acquiring new customers in the Cell & Gene Therapy sector within a designated territory.
• Create and implement strategic plans for the territory aimed at driving sales growth, acquiring new logos, and penetrating the market.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with both emerging and established companies in the Cell & Gene Therapy field.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, gathering market intelligence, networking, attending industry conferences, and obtaining referrals.
• Spot expansion opportunities within current accounts and collaborate with commercial teams to enhance share of wallet.
• Utilize Salesforce, industry databases, funding announcements, clinical trial activities, M&A activity, and market trends to uncover opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with executive leadership and stakeholders in clinical supply chain, manufacturing, operations, procurement, and development.
• Position comprehensive CTD solutions, such as transportation, temperature-controlled storage, clinical supply chain, packaging and labeling, comparator sourcing, and commercialization support.
• Work collaboratively across Thermo Fisher business units to promote a unified One Thermo Fisher strategy.
• Lead customer presentations, business reviews, and meetings focused on opportunity development.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasting, sales call reporting, and territory planning through Salesforce.
• Represent Thermo Fisher at industry conferences, Cell & Gene Therapy events, and both in-person and virtual customer meetings.
• Achieve new logo acquisition, annual revenue growth, pipeline generation and conversion, territory expansion, market penetration, share-of-wallet growth, and strategic customer engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business development or strategic sales within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, CRO, or clinical supply chain sectors.
• Proven success in acquiring new business and developing territories.
• Experience in selling to Cell & Gene Therapy or specialty pharmaceutical markets is preferred.
• Strong understanding of drug development, clinical supply chain, and outsourced pharmaceutical services.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and manage complex sales cycles.
• Knowledge of Cell & Gene Therapy is preferred.
• Familiarity with Clinical Trial Services / Clinical Supply Chain is preferred.
• Understanding of Temperature-Controlled Logistics is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse clients, senior leaders, and key stakeholders.
