This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Initiates, coordinates, and formulates strategic plans and sales tactics within designated territories or accounts.
• Develops account strategies and implementation plans while fostering growth through these accounts.
• Identifies new markets and explores business opportunities, pinpointing potential sales points within assigned territories or accounts.
• Gathers essential information for proposal preparation and leads the proposal process for each initiated opportunity.
• Prepares and organizes presentations for sponsors.
• Ensures team readiness for client meetings, such as Capabilities meetings or Bid Defence Meetings (BDM).
• Oversees budget and contract negotiations after the award of work within specified territories or accounts.
• Collaborates with operations to monitor study status for projects with sponsors and facilitates change orders when notified of scope changes by operations.
• Establishes and nurtures regular contact and a positive rapport with both prospective and current clients.
• Monitors and tracks competitor activities within the CRO sector.
• Plans and participates in major industry events and tradeshows.
• Significant experience in CRO sales with robust negotiation and analytical abilities.
• A well-established network of decision-makers within Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies, along with a proven history of identifying and securing lucrative service contracts.
• Understanding of trends and government policies and regulations in the clinical trials sector relevant to Ergomed Group countries.
• Exceptional communication skills and team leadership capabilities that effectively influence and drive multiple stakeholders towards fulfilling customer needs.
• Strong and persuasive presentation skills; capable of effectively showcasing the features and benefits of services to clients.
• Outstanding organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit, results orientation, and customer focus.
• Willingness to travel as per the requirements of the business development strategy.
