Senior Business Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee comprehensive analytics processes, encompassing data acquisition, transformation, analysis, and reporting.

• Manage and enhance data workflows within the Databricks platform to boost efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Evaluate key business performance indicators such as CTP, CVR, engagement, and funnel performance to uncover trends and opportunities for optimization.

• Examine data trends, user behaviors, and performance challenges to identify root causes and propose actionable solutions.

• Convert analytical insights into precise business requirements for A/B testing, funnel optimization, and product enhancements.

• Partner with data engineering and cross-functional teams to address data discrepancies and ensure accuracy across systems.

• Document both business and technical requirements for roadmap initiatives, data tagging improvements, and technical upgrade projects.

• Assist in the strategic planning of data initiatives, including KPI tracking, reporting, and performance assessment.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions align with business objectives and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in Business Data Analytics or related analytical positions.

• Strong practical experience with Databricks.

• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.

• Solid understanding of data processing, reporting, and analytics workflows.

• Experience in analyzing KPIs, conversion funnels, and engagement metrics.

• Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
