This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with both business and IT teams to create technical recovery strategies for applications and infrastructure, ensuring resilience in accordance with FFIEC guidelines.
• Provide consultation and guidance to application teams, infrastructure teams, and architects for aligning current and future technologies with enterprise resilience controls, standards, and strategies.
• Work alongside business and IT teams to develop business continuity plans, technical recovery plans, and other enterprise resilience documentation.
• Assess and evaluate plans against established standards for quality, offering feedback for operational enhancements and alignment with those standards.
• Partner with peers, information security, and the first line of defense to review and develop standards and recommendations for policies that comply with FFIEC guidelines and enterprise resilience objectives.
• Assist in the development and delivery of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measures related to technical recovery, business continuity, and enterprise resilience.
• Create and deliver awareness and training programs (including online training content) for staff on topics related to technical recovery, business continuity, and enterprise resilience.
• Facilitate annual testing of technical recovery and business continuity, along with the documentation of tests.
• Collaborate with business partners and IT on the annual business impact analysis (BIA) process and risk assessment.
• Work with the information security team and first line of defense on key risk indicators, tracking of risks and gaps, and conducting risk analyses.
• Assist in responding to customer inquiries, audits, and maintenance of documents associated with enterprise resilience.
• This position includes an on-call component and may require participation in a 24/7 on-call or shift rotation, which could involve occasional weekend, off-hour, and holiday work.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Resilience Programs, or related fields.
• Familiarity with cloud and on-premises disaster recovery, ransomware, and business resumption technologies, processes, and practices.
• Capability to perform under pressure, such as during tight deadlines and business-related crises.
• Proficiency in negotiating win-win agreements with stakeholders in complex scenarios.
• Knowledge and experience in agile project management.
• Certification as a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or membership in the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).
• Experience in developing online training materials.
• Master's degree is preferred.
