This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the complete configuration and deployment of Xactly Incent, which includes creating compensation plans, establishing quotas, crediting rules, and computing commission payouts.
• Tailor Compensation Rules to accommodate intricate commission structures, such as tiered payouts, accelerators, draws, and recoveries, in accordance with client-specific business needs.
• Set up and manage participant hierarchies, team configurations, and territory assignments, ensuring precise tracking of compensation.
• Develop and maintain calculation formulas for base pay, bonuses, and multi-variable commissions utilizing Xactly’s Calculation Engine.
• Manage the credit assignment process, which includes distributing credits among multiple participants or roles while ensuring accurate credit allocation to sales activities.
• Configure and oversee Plan Documents and Participant Statements, ensuring transparency and clarity in commission reporting.
• Execute data loading and integration from various input sources (such as CRM data from Salesforce, ERP systems, or manual files) using Xactly's Connect integration tool.
• Carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm system functionality and ensure the accuracy of calculations.
• Establish and manage dispute workflows, allowing users to contest commissions and maintain proper audit trails.
• Create and configure Xactly Analytics dashboards and custom reports to give clients real-time insights into performance metrics, incentive payouts, and sales effectiveness.
• Develop sophisticated reporting frameworks to monitor key metrics like quota attainment, sales by product, compensation by territory, and overall team performance.
• Utilize Xactly Analytics' data visualization tools to craft and present intuitive charts and graphs that emphasize critical insights for executives and sales leaders.
• Set up custom calculation logic for reporting purposes, including aggregate functions for year-over-year comparisons, trend analysis, and commission forecasting.
• Implement role-based security in Xactly Analytics to ensure appropriate data access controls, allowing varying levels of visibility for stakeholders (including sales reps, managers, and executives).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a software development or systems analyst position.
• Must be adept with emerging technologies, willing to learn new software, comprehend a data model and an object model, write SQL queries, and draft design specifications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• 3-5 years of experience in implementing Xactly Incent and Xactly Analytics.
• Familiarity with software development and implementation life cycles.
• Experience with major relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Proficient in Xactly Incent configuration, including:
• Compensation Plan Design: Structuring and configuring incentive compensation plans, defining quotas, crediting rules, and payout methods.
• Participant Management: Setting up and managing user hierarchies, teams, roles, and permissions.
• Calculation Engine: Building custom formulas and managing complex calculation rules (e.g., weighted commissions and bonuses).
• Plan Document Automation: Configuring automated and customizable participant statements and documents.
• Quota Management: Configuring and overseeing quota-setting processes.
• Expertise in Xactly Analytics configuration and reporting:
• Advanced Data Modeling: Designing and configuring custom reports and dashboards.
• Complex Report Building: Creating performance dashboards that aggregate sales data and compensation metrics.
• Knowledge of the following technologies is considered advantageous:
• Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, Xactly, Varicent.
• Web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, and HTML.
• BI Cognos reporting.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
