This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Gather requirements through document analysis, workshops, surveys, process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task/workflow analysis.
• Act as a liaison between product owners, technology teams, and support teams during the requirements gathering and analysis phases.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to clarify and refine requirements.
• Create and maintain Process Design Documents (PDDs) that encompass workflows, business rules, decision points, and exception handling.
• Work alongside UiPath developers to validate Solution Design Documents (SDDs) against PDDs, ensuring proper traceability.
• Identify opportunities for agentic automation utilizing UiPath bots and large language models (LLMs) with governance, escalation, and remediation protocols.
• Design and document user journeys enhanced by LLMs that expand UiPath capabilities.
• Generate comprehensive, testable, and traceable business, functional, data, software, and use-case requirements.
• Analyze requirements, document processes, and conduct quality assurance/user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify or resolve ambiguous or conflicting requirements.
• Assist the project manager in managing the product backlog and ensuring a continuous workflow.
• Travel approximately 5% for candidates located in the DMV area or up to 20% for candidates from outside the area.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 2 years supporting UiPath implementation or RPA projects.
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of UiPath components, including Studio, Orchestrator, Queues, and attended/unattended bots.
• Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions, analyzing business processes, and documenting user needs.
• Technology consulting experience, including defining requirements, leading client meetings, facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), and conducting training sessions.
• Proficient in using Jira.
• Ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that translate into clear requirements baselines.
• Experience in writing Process Design Documents (PDDs) and validating Solution Design Documents (SDDs) with developers.
• Strong customer service, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen as per contract requirements.
• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a Federal Secret security clearance; priority consideration will be given to those with an active Secret clearance.
• UiPath Business Analyst Certification or UiPath Automation Business Analyst training is preferred.
• Experience with process mining tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with API integrations, workflow tools, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Experience in enterprise-level RPA programs with governance, scaling, and Center of Excellence (COE) structures is preferred.
• Understanding of financial management aspects, particularly in a federal context, is preferred.
