Business Analyst – Early Career

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business requirements and contribute to the creation of tailored technologies and solutions aimed at enhancing health and human services outcomes.

• Work in conjunction with business analysts to provide client recommendations that optimize business processes.

• Convert client business needs and technical specifications into easily understandable non-technical terms.

• Assess and document systems requirements alongside business processes.

• Develop basic conceptual data and process models to measure the potential impacts of system changes.

• Execute and assess fundamental test case scenarios derived from existing test plans.

• Engage in technical reviews and inspections with senior leadership to ensure that final deliverables align with client expectations.

• Enhance technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Visio.

• Fundamental understanding of the software development life cycle, programming principles, and Microsoft Office suite.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate business needs, address bugs and defects, and aid in business process improvement efforts.

• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills within a professional setting.

• Interest in both technical and non-technical teams, business operations, process re-engineering, and solutions for Business Process Automation.

• Capability to collaborate in a team setting and manage reference data including tables, code sets, configuration data, and business rules.

• Familiarity with data management principles and the ability to support accurate reference data updates under supervision.

• Foundational experience with Excel, SQL, ALM, or other requirements management tools gained through coursework, internships, projects, or work experience.

• A sense of curiosity and eagerness to learn about data governance, compliance standards, and business process documentation.
