This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide expert analysis and actionable recommendations to VA management regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of extensive public health programs and suicide prevention initiatives.
• Plan and execute organizational studies and gap analyses to pinpoint systemic barriers, capability deficiencies, and opportunities for program enhancement within the Office of Suicide Prevention.
• Create, implement, and synthesize findings from surveys, focus groups, interviews, and various qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to guide program strategy.
• Document and present clear, concise findings and recommendations through written reports, briefings, and presentations tailored for VA stakeholders and program leadership.
• Assist in sprint-based project delivery by contributing to workplan development, milestone tracking, and rapid-cycle analysis tasks in accordance with contract performance objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, policy, and data subject matter experts, to ensure that analytical products align with current VA priorities and evidence-based public health standards.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in management analysis, program evaluation, or a closely related field, showcasing expert-level work in public health programs or operations.
• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Previous experience in supporting federal agency clients, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, or HHS/public health-focused programs.
• Capability to obtain and maintain access to VA facilities and complete the necessary background investigation; an existing suitability determination or PIV eligibility is an advantage.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Proven proficiency in documenting analytical findings and providing recommendations through structured reports, executive briefings, or similar professional deliverables.
