This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Assist in the daily operations of the IT Applications Department.
• Design and execute integrated processes within business applications.
• Oversee the maintenance and support of the SAP ERP application.
• Manage intricate technology projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Identify and specify cross-project requirements to ensure cohesive design and user experience.
• Provide leadership and design guidance to various teams and departments.
• Research, suggest, and support the implementation of emerging technologies and vendor solutions.
• Collaborate with business, development, and analysis teams on technical, functional, and end-user documentation.
• Develop and implement change-request test plans and checklists.
• Monitor and communicate project issues, scope adjustments, variances, and contingencies.
• Direct vendor activities and offer feedback on vendor performance.
• Share best practices and contribute to ongoing IT process enhancements.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, vendors, and company staff.
• Guide teams in crafting functional business requirements.
• Address functionality and implementation challenges.
• Adhere to SDLC, application change-management, and security best practices.
• Assist with escalated IT Help Desk incidents, including after-hours support as necessary.
• Facilitate training on application functionality, best practices, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Keep business continuity and disaster recovery test documentation updated.
• Aid in the creation of SAP Help Documents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in SAP Material Management and integrated business processes.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies, and tables.
• Familiarity with SQL, ABAP, Java, and .Net is advantageous.
• Advanced understanding of relational databases and client-server concepts.
• Strong comprehension of business processes and system linkages, including integrated systems.
• Proficient in PC, Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and Outlook.
• Functional expertise in SAP MM across purchasing, inventory management, source determination, and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA supporting MM and integrated business processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP master data, including Material Master, Vendor/Supplier Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source Lists, and plant/material extensions.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot SAP MM data using MARA, MARC, MARD, EINA, EINE, LFA1/BP, EKKO, EKPO, and EKBE.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, functional specification writing, and business process documentation.
• Support for testing and UAT, including test script creation, defect triage, issue resolution, and business validation.
• Understanding of integration points between MM and SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, Ariba, EDI, APIs, and reporting solutions.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively across various geographical, functional, and cultural boundaries.
• Ability to address time-sensitive issues under pressure.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, organization, prioritization, and project management.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to align business requirements with application solutions.
