Senior Business Analyst – Insurance, Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to pinpoint business challenges and devise suitable analytical solutions.

• Design and plan straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system modifications.

• Provide suggestions to enhance and facilitate business operations.

• Collect, analyze, document, and convey intricate business requirements and processes.

• Formulate complex test case scenarios and oversee or monitor business application testing.

• Create business requirements documents and user stories for necessary modifications.

• Potentially coordinate, delegate, and supervise the work of other business analysts.

• Examine systems and associated data to uncover actionable insights and aid in making informed decisions.

• Assist in estimating project task durations.

• Revise process and procedural documentation.

• Acquire a fundamental understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.

• Support QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis and maintenance of changes.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

• Prior experience in the insurance sector is mandatory.

• Experience in Insurtech or health insurance is preferred.

• Certification related to Health Insurance from INS, LOMA, or III is a plus.

• Understanding of business analysis principles, including requirement definition, conversion into technical solutions, and Agile prioritization of epics and sprints.

• Proficient business analysis skills including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum setting is necessary.

• Basic knowledge of process documentation, system functionality, data integration, and workflows.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Currently residing in Vietnam.
