Senior Business Analyst – Health Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and technical resources to pinpoint their business challenges and formulate the appropriate analytical solutions.

• Strategize and design straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system modifications.

• Propose enhancements to support and improve business operations.

• Collect business requirements through various methods such as workshops and interviews; analyze and document intricate client business requirements and processes, and relay these requirements to the relevant stakeholders.

• Construct complex test case scenarios for testing purposes; supervise the testing of business applications to ensure that all client requirements are integrated into the system design.

• Create business requirements documents and user stories to facilitate necessary modifications.

• May plan, distribute, and oversee the work of other business analysts.

• Grasp simple to complex systems and associated data to extract actionable insights, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.

• Assist in providing time estimates for project-related assignments.

• Help in revising process and procedural documentation.

• Cultivate a foundational understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.

• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases of projects through defect analysis, change management, and more.

• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

• Previous experience in the health insurance sector is mandatory.

• Experience in insurtech is advantageous.

• Health insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is a plus.

• Proficiency in business analysis concepts, including defining requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and utilizing an Agile approach to prioritize work into epics and sprints.

• Strong business analysis skills, encompassing facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines within specified timeframes.

• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is essential.

• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation, documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflow.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Technical writing skills are an advantage.
