
Senior Business Analyst – Dealer Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with Dealer Finance clients to identify their business requirements, respond to inquiries, and deliver ongoing application support.
• Oversee the design and development execution for Dealer Finance initiatives, ensuring that outcomes align with client expectations, product strategy, and organizational priorities.
• Work alongside technical teams that support a COBOL-based mainframe application and related GUI front-end solutions.
• Collect, analyze, document, and validate business needs for system enhancements, issue resolution, and process optimization.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and other supporting documentation.
• Investigate, replicate, and record system issues; conduct business analysis and assist in identifying root causes.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist in test planning, case development, execution, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of business requirements.
• Evaluate dealer warehouse financing, dealer lines of credit, and dealer loan processing workflows to discover opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Facilitate effective communication among clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Extensive experience in design and development-focused projects.
• Proven track record of working directly with clients to gather requirements, craft Business Requirements, and convert them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering solutions within the Dealer Finance or financial services sectors.
• Strong collaborative skills across Release Management, Product, QA, and Development teams.
• Capability to work autonomously on complex, multi-team initiatives that significantly impact the business.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for both technical and business audiences.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or similar Agile delivery roles.
• Experience in Dealer Finance is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AF/ALS platforms will be considered.
• Experience in supporting production systems and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bonus points for knowledge in dealer finance, commercial lending, floor plan financing, warehouse lending, or dealer lines of credit.
• Experience supporting mainframe applications and working with COBOL-based systems.
• Knowledge of mainframe technologies such as TSO/ISPF, JCL, and CICS.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Understanding of financial transaction processing, loan servicing, and credit management workflows.
• Experience supporting large-scale, client-facing financial platforms.
• Knowledge of system integration, data analysis, and production support best practices.
