This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Continuously track federal and state regulatory sources (e.g., CMS, state Medicaid agencies, HHS) for any new or updated requirements.
• Evaluate proposed and finalized rules, guidance, and policy changes to assess their relevance and impact on business operations.
• Distill intricate regulatory modifications into straightforward, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
• Perform impact assessments across various business functions, including operations, compliance, network, clinical, and technology.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish business requirements and implementation strategies.
• Assist in prioritizing regulatory initiatives based on risk factors, complexity, and deadlines.
• Lead working groups and stakeholder meetings to foster consensus on regulatory modifications.
• Monitor the progress of implementation activities and ensure accountability among teams.
• Serve as a primary liaison between legal, operations, and clinical leadership.
• Maintain a consolidated inventory of regulatory changes and their implementation statuses.
• Create executive-level summaries, dashboards, and status updates.
• Ensure documentation complies with audit and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance to guarantee adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies related to regulatory changes.
• Assist in audit preparedness and remediation efforts as necessary.
• Investigate regulatory-related issues and/or client compliance concerns, developing root cause analyses when needed.
• Improve regulatory change management processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Promote standardization and efficiency in tracking and implementing regulatory changes.
• Suggest automation or workflow enhancements where applicable.
• Support client or government-led audits as a regulatory compliance specialist through:
• Research and analysis.
• Documentation and public speaking.
• Workflow and Judi navigator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Business, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, government programs, compliance, or regulatory analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of Medicare regulatory requirements and related product and/or operational workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex regulatory language and convey its business implications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excel: skilled in creating and maintaining pivot tables, forms, and formulas (e.g., vlookup, true, if, left, etc.).
• PowerPoint: capable of creating and updating accurate slide decks for Government Programs functions.
• Word: experienced in supporting policies, procedures, and job aid change management.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
