Senior Business Analyst – Cloud Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business executives and technical leaders to gain insight into objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes.

• Convert business goals into cloud strategies that align with value, cost optimization, and transformation priorities.

• Deliver findings and recommendations to executive audiences in a clear, engaging, and actionable manner.

• Oversee the complete execution of cloud financial and technical assessments using tools such as Azure Migrate, Excel, Power BI, and other analytical platforms.

• Organize, model, and interpret trends from complex datasets sourced from multiple clients.

• Create financial insights, business cases, and optimization recommendations that assist clients in making informed cloud migration decisions.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Directors, and Project Managers to integrate analysis into comprehensive client strategies.

• Aid in the development of multi-tower cloud transformation roadmaps across Data and Analytics, Application Modernization, Infrastructure, and AI practices.

• Contribute to pre-sales activities by sharing insights and thought leadership during the initial stages of deals.

• Assist in the evolution and maintenance of standardized models, templates, and reusable assets to enhance the quality and repeatability of advisory engagements.

• Incorporate AI-driven insights and automation into assessment workflows where applicable.

• Support internal initiatives aimed at improving delivery speed and client experience.

• Act as the lead analyst on client engagements and coordinate with stakeholders during assessment phases.

• Mentor analysts and early-career team members through coaching, quality reviews, and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality advisory reports and presentations that link cloud strategy to measurable business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, cloud economics, or strategic consulting roles.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, modeling logic, and data manipulation techniques.

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, ideally Azure, along with modernization or optimization best practices.

• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops or structured executive discussions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

• Experience in a sales environment or providing support during pre-sales cycles.

• Familiarity with building or managing an agile backlog.

• Experience working in a consulting or cloud-centric environment.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines across diverse stakeholders.
