Senior Business Analyst – Business Engagement, Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Elicit and define business requirements

• Utilize a consulting approach to identify genuine business needs

• Collect, analyze, and refine both business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews

• Create comprehensive requirements documentation, including functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria

• Own and maintain requirements traceability matrices to guarantee thorough testing of requirements

• Collaborate with QA, Technology Quality Management, and delivery teams to validate requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing criteria and scenarios, preparation, dry runs, and execution

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions with cross-functional SMEs and stakeholders

• Foster collaborative agreement, prioritization, and decision-making among business and technology teams

• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and functional leaders to align on project scope and outcomes

• Translate business needs for engineering and technology delivery teams

• Act as the voice of the customer within Scrum or delivery teams when a business SME is unavailable

• Help identify technical capabilities and solution strategies that align with business objectives

• Collaborate with UX and Human Factors Engineering specialists to design intuitive, user-centered solutions

• Implement Business Analysis best practices to enhance processes, standards, templates, and working methods

• Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and efficiency while ensuring quality and compliance

• Contribute to the advancement of Business Analysis practices across various initiatives and programs

• Strong consulting skills, including root cause analysis and the ability to differentiate true needs from stated desires

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficient in translating complex discussions into structured documentation

• Proven capability to negotiate, influence, and build consensus with senior stakeholders

• Strong skills in requirements documentation and analysis

• Quick to learn new domains and effectively share knowledge

• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional, and globally distributed environments

• Comfortable managing multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously

• Experience with generative AI is advantageous

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related field is required

• Advanced-level Senior Business Analyst IT experience in a technical environment within a regulated industry is essential

• Strong understanding of clinical trials is desirable

• Previous experience in the CRO, Pharma, or Biotech industry is preferred

• Familiarity with Business Analysis best practices and consulting behaviors

• Knowledge of Computer System Validation, SDLC methodologies, and 21 CFR Part 11 concepts

• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments

• Background in supporting project delivery within established Project Lifecycle frameworks
