Senior Business Analyst – Benefit Plan Administration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist in coordinating the responsibilities and activities of a business analyst team on IT projects.

• Offer guidance and support to less experienced team members.

• Identify, document, and disseminate business requirements along with their anticipated impacts.

• Create business specifications at the initiation of a technical project.

• Evaluate, plan, design, document, or propose improvements to business processes.

• Review and validate testing outcomes.

• Utilize analytical or relational database software—such as Excel or SQL—to assess the projected impact of initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Healthcare sector.

• More than 5 years of experience with Medicaid and Medicare.

• Proficient in documenting requirements related to claims, reference, and Benefits Plan Administration (BPA) domains.

• Experience in claims testing.

• Understanding of how edits and audits function and how to configure them.

• Familiarity with computer programming concepts, including configuration, development, and batch processing.

• Advanced expertise in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and requirement-mapping tools (e.g., ALM).
