Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop business capability models, value streams, and process documentation that facilitate enterprise architecture and modernization initiatives.

• Organize workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions to gather functional and non-functional requirements.

• Convert business needs into well-structured requirements, use cases, and supporting documentation for technical teams.

• Produce domain-level business architecture summaries that include strategies, gaps, target states, and roadmaps.

• Aid in alternatives analysis and investment decision-making by linking business capabilities with systems, technologies, and projects.

• Ensure all artifacts, meeting notes, approvals, and requirements are stored and maintained in the EA repository or other authorized systems.

• Work closely with systems analysts, architects, and program teams to validate requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.

• Assist in the creation of governance documentation, including decision gate materials, templates, charters, and guidance packages.

• Offer analytical support for process improvement, policy development, and organizational change efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or Business Architect, especially in Capital Planning and Investment (CPIC).

• Strong abilities in business process modeling, capability mapping, and requirements documentation.

• Capability to create clear and structured technical and business artifacts for a diverse group of stakeholders.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and modeling software.

• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
