Business Analyst – US (all genders)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Gather, organize, and document both business and technical requirements.

• Convert stakeholder expectations into precise and actionable specifications.

• Create well-structured requirement documents that include functional specifications and user stories.

• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Evaluate current workflows and system processes.

• Identify areas of inefficiency and suggest enhancements to improve operational and system performance.

• Serve as the liaison among product management, engineering, compliance, and operations teams.

• Promote effective communication and alignment among both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Provide ongoing updates regarding project status, risks, and any changes.

• Collaborate with system architects and engineering teams to confirm technical feasibility.

• Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure precise implementation of requirements.

• Assist in outlining project scope, timelines, and key milestones.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and implementation artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Requirements Engineer.

• Experience in fintech, DLT, trading and settlement, trading platforms, digital assets, or financial services.

• Strong comprehension of financial markets and regulatory frameworks.

• Familiarity with US financial regulations or securities authorities (e.g., the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, etc.).

• Experience in documenting requirements using structured methodologies.

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban).

• Practical experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to effectively communicate between business and technical teams.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
