Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and interviews with stakeholders.

• Convert business requirements, product vision, and technical architecture into clear, actionable specifications.

• Act as a trusted consultant to clients, ensuring alignment between business objectives and project outcomes.

• Facilitate effective communication among business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and project leadership.

• Take ownership of product backlogs, prioritizing tasks based on business value.

• Create user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and eliminate ambiguities.

• Support Agile delivery methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and clarifying requirements.

• Analyze and document both current-state and future-state business processes.

• Assist in data transformation projects involving data mapping, migration, and system integrations.

• Work with technical teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business outcomes.

• Confirm that solutions meet customer expectations and align with organizational goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology projects.

• Strong expertise in gathering requirements and translating business needs into user stories and technical specifications.

• Practical experience in data mapping, data analysis, system integrations, and data transformation or migration initiatives.

• Experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs within Agile frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to define acceptance criteria and contribute to successful project execution.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Travel is typically 5% or less per year.

• Preferred: experience with application modernization projects.

• Preferred: knowledge of .NET application environments.

• Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architectures.

• Preferred: experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
