This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee project deliverables encompassing process analysis, root cause analysis, problem identification, requirements gathering, benchmarking, user story creation, and solution implementation.
• Evaluate software programs, applications, and web services.
• Direct and strategize the definition, analysis, validation, and upkeep of functional requirements.
• Work in collaboration with customers, stakeholders, product owners, various divisions, and UX/UI designers.
• Discover process enhancements through automation and system redesign.
• Document business requirements, process maps, use cases, user stories, as well as functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate customer discovery sessions and develop business process models and workflows.
• Conduct user research, pinpoint features and epics, draft user stories, and validate these with users.
• Analyze and resolve conflicts in requirements, data, and information from diverse sources.
• Create wireframes and mock-ups in collaboration with UX/UI designers and incorporate user feedback.
• Leverage understanding of functional and non-functional aspects of NCMEC software systems and technical architecture.
• Report directly to the Director, Product Management Office.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Resident due to access to sensitive information.
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C Sharp, JavaScript, Python, or SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Familiarity with business process modeling techniques including BPMN, DFDs, RADs, and EPC.
• Experience in eliciting requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, process reviews, and workflow analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of Business Process Modeling.
• Strong grasp of software development life cycle models.
• Knowledge of Agile and traditional project and business environments.
• Proven experience in a technical Business Analyst/Business Process Analyst role.
• Familiarity with Visio, Jira, and Confluence is advantageous.
• Capability to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Skill in collaborating with developers, customers, project managers, product owners, and quality test analysts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to engage with business and IT personnel at all levels, including executives.
• Deep understanding of business needs and the ability to build and sustain customer trust and confidence.
• 100% remote work opportunity.
• Less than 10% travel requirement.
• Generally scheduled Monday–Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
• Business Analysis and/or Agile certifications are highly sought after.
