This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to gather and clarify both business and functional requirements.
• Promote automation and enhance quality from a business standpoint by assisting in testing strategies and validating requirements.
• Assess existing processes and systems to pinpoint opportunities for improvement that align with project objectives.
• Deliver clear and concise documentation that includes business requirements, presentation mockups, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirement workshops and facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and coordinate defect resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Conduct and support testing efforts and related artifacts, project status reporting, and documentation of requirement traceability.
• Communicate project risks, concerns, and quality metrics to both leadership and team members.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
• Engage in straightforward system design and configuration activities.
• Recommended: 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Commercial Insurance sector.
• Recommended: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of the insurance domain, particularly in commercial lines of business such as Auto, Property, Liability, and Workers Compensation.
• Experience interacting with both technical and business stakeholders in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Proficiency with tools for requirement gathering and documentation.
• Ability to effectively convey complex insurance requirements to both technical teams and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self-starter who excels in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
• Experience in supporting testing activities and validating business scenarios.
• Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS software development is preferred.
• Possession of insurance-related certifications such as AINS or CPCU is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% may be required.
