Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to capture and document their business processes, requirements, and goals related to field service operations.

• Evaluate and convert business needs into functional specifications for enterprise solutions.

• Perform gap analyses to pinpoint deficiencies in existing systems.

• Work alongside technical teams to design solutions that meet client needs and adhere to industry best practices.

• Support the configuration and customization of tools tailored to specific client requirements.

• Create and implement test plans to ensure compliance with requirements and quality standards.

• Draft comprehensive user stories and test cases, then execute the associated tests.

• Record, track, prioritize, and validate defects.

• Assist new users through both individual and collaborative User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

• Navigate discussions with users when bugs are found or business needs are deprioritized.

• Act as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical teams.

• Organize workshops and meetings to collect requirements, showcase solutions, and secure stakeholder approval.

• Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Identify ways to enhance client business processes through Field Service Management (FSM) solutions.

• Suggest best practices and innovative solutions to optimize field service operations and efficiency.

• Monitor the performance of solutions and propose enhancements based on data insights and client feedback.

• Develop training materials and lead training sessions for clients.

• Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation and optimize the use of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on Enterprise Field Service Management and mobile workforce solutions.

• More than 8 years of experience in implementing projects for enterprise systems (ERPs, CRMs, FSM, etc.).

• Strong background in the utilities, energy, or telecom industries.

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution implementation.

• Practical experience with SQL for accessing, retrieving, manipulating, and analyzing data.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint, process design tools (such as Visio, Signavio), and similar PMO tools.

• A solid understanding of utility operations, asset management, and field service management is REQUIRED.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong project management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with business integration requirements across various technology stacks (ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, Data Warehouse, etc.).

• Willingness to travel to client sites, both domestically and internationally, as project requirements dictate.

• A consulting background with experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder relationship management is preferred.

• Proficiency in FSM software platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions.

• Knowledge of IoT, AI, and Machine Learning as they pertain to Field Service Management.

• Professional certifications related to Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
