Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Collect, organize, and document both business and functional requirements; create comprehensive functional specifications that encompass validation rules, state transitions, error management, and input/output agreements.

• Analyze existing and prospective user flows; pinpoint gaps, edge cases, and dependencies to guarantee thorough requirements.

• Maintain organized documentation and ensure traceability of requirements and decisions made.

• Promote cross-team alignment by clarifying project scope, resolving ambiguities, and facilitating communication between product and engineering teams.

• Outline acceptance test scenarios and expected outcomes; engage in testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Actively identify risks, inconsistencies, and scope gaps in requirements and assist in resolving them.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a technical product setting.

• Experience with products that have heavy integration.

• Capability to read and interpret technical documents, sequence diagrams, and architecture specifications.

• Understanding of mobile application ecosystems.

• Proficient in crafting clear, structured functional specifications and documentation.

• Experience in flow mapping and process modeling (BPMN, UML, or similar).

• Background in defining acceptance criteria and engaging in UAT.

• Skilled in using documentation and collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning).

• Knowledge of design collaboration tools.
