Health IT Business Analyst II – Requirements and Change Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the identification and documentation of requirements, encompassing both functional and data specifications.

• Establish and oversee a data mapping strategy that includes defining data requirements, prioritizing tasks, setting business rules, and collaborating with data engineers for technical execution.

• Convert validated clinical and program requirements into functional and data specifications to facilitate system improvements and modifications.

• Gather stakeholder feedback and ensure traceability of requirements and decisions throughout the process.

• Assist with system testing, impact assessments, and change management initiatives, focusing on identifying risks, dependencies, and potential downstream effects of proposed modifications.

• Aid the IHSC Change Control Board by managing the intake process for change and enhancement requests.

• Keep track of and document the status of requests and decisions to maintain transparency.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of pertinent professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in support of health IT or enterprise IT systems.

• Proven track record in leading the collection and analysis of requirements for intricate systems and enhancements.

• Capability to convert operational and program needs into functional specifications and requirements.

• Demonstrated expertise in leading data mapping strategies and requirements, including the definition of data elements, sources, and business rules.

• Experience in coordinating input from cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate change management and system testing.

• Eligibility to obtain and retain a DHS/ICE fitness determination (public trust) and to sign a DHS Non-Disclosure Agreement.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
