Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete process of requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for government eServices and digital transformation projects.

• Generate high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and Product Backlog Items (PBIs) that include well-defined acceptance criteria, BPMN 2.0 process models, and comprehensive traceability for Azure DevOps implementation.

• Conduct workshops with government stakeholders to resolve conflicting requirements and secure formal approvals.

• Analyze and map current and future processes; identify dependencies, edge cases, and non-functional requirements such as security, privacy, audit, and performance.

• Utilize AI tools (such as LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted documentation) to enhance the speed of analysis and drafting while exercising sound judgment regarding validation and sensitive government information.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), bridge communication between business and technical teams, and ensure that delivered solutions align with business objectives.

• Guide junior Business Analysts and maintain the team’s Business Analysis methodologies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline; CBAP (or an equivalent Business Analysis certification) is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 6 years of practical Business Analysis experience, with a proven history in government or public-sector digital services within the UAE or GCC.

• Demonstrated experience in greenfield requirements gathering that is not strictly confined to ERP configuration or pre-sales activities.

• Strong capabilities in requirements elicitation, analysis, and structured documentation, including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in process modeling using BPMN 2.0, swimlanes, and as-is / to-be diagrams with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Camunda, or draw.io.

• Experience in backlog management and Agile delivery using Azure DevOps (or Jira).

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, and bilingual communication in Arabic and English.

• Practical proficiency in AI, including prompt engineering and AI-assisted analysis/documentation, with a disciplined approach to validation and data sensitivity.

• Knowledge of eServices, digital government standards, and the context of the UAE government.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) / document management, omni-channel service delivery, and integration with UAE PASS.

• Experience in wireframing/prototyping using Figma and basic understanding of data and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI).
