Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate efficient communication with client project stakeholders concerning project status, requirements clarity, and delivery suggestions.

• Gather, document, and oversee business requirements from product owners and stakeholders.

• Convert requirements into well-articulated user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications in Jira/Confluence.

• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder review sessions in partnership with engineering and QA teams.

• Perform gap analyses and workflow mapping to pinpoint process enhancements on the BX platform.

• Assist in UAT (user acceptance testing) planning, test script creation, and securing stakeholder approvals.

• Generate clear documentation, including BRDs, process flows, data dictionaries, and use case diagrams.

• Participate in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and governance activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience/expertise in the following areas specified below:

• *Gather and document requirements from business and technical stakeholders within a software product environment*

• *Create user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and process documentation to a high standard*

• *Facilitate agile ceremonies and manage backlog priorities in Jira and Confluence*

• *Assist in UAT planning and execution, acting as a liaison between business and QA teams*

• Must-Have Skills & Tools:

• *Methodologies: Agile/Scrum*

• *Tools: Jira, Confluence, Slack/Teams*

• *Deliverables: User stories, BRDs, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, use cases*

• Good to Have Skills:

• *Experience in clinical trials, healthcare IT, or regulated software environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)*

• *3+ years of business analysis experience in a software product or professional services environment.*

• *Proven ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.*

• *Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.*

• *English proficiency.*
